「Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

「We are from Australia and have been travelling around all the UK for a month, this is the best accommodation as far as facilities in room and restaurant/bar that we've stayed in. It is the only place we've stayed apart from cottages that had there own kitchens that had a fridge in. The only negative thing we can say is the other patrons coming in late at night early/ morning were very noisey and when they slammed there doors it was very loud, this could be fixed by installing soft door closers...
