The property owner was instantly available by mobile phone, checking all was well and leaving ice cream in the freezer for us and fresh flowers. Certainly going the extra mile."

The quintessential English country cottage! Gorgeous walks from the door and lovely outside space (which only the dog took advantage of as the weather was so wet!) We did struggle with the beams with 3 out of 6 of us banging our heads, but we knew from the description that...

"An amazing property in an amazing location. Set in the middle of farmland this Sussex Timber Framed House is truly unique. The whole history of the land and property are documented from 1245 both in book form and on the walls of the entrance porch. Filled with original beams and woodwork, inglenook fireplaces and furnished to compliment the age of the building but with modern day living taken into account. An amazing bedroom with vaulted ceiling and modern en-suite bathroom. A lovely kitchen...
