Exceeded expectations

This stay was exactly what we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfy and we had plenty of room outside for our dog. 3 spots for offstreet parking. Easy checkin and checkout. Would definitely stay again.

filthy

ants and dried meat blood in the griller, cane toad in the kitchen, nothing in the house wiped down, everything sticky, plates , glasses and utensil sticky, under and behind beds had cob webs everywhere, bed had metal coming out of mattress, had to sleep on mattress on top of mattress. I don't advise anybody to stay here.

Dissapointed.

Well it was a bit disappointing,I rang the Real Estate 1 week before to order the linen. We got there and checked the beds and no linen.So rang the real estate as it was late on the Saturday,only Emeremcy number,no reply until next day. Also there are mouses,rats in the ceiling,walls in this property.As lots of sound,noises through the night. And the weather top it off. Then had to race home as my hubby needed hospital attention,in Toowoomba.

Banksia Beach Pet Friendly

Positives: Very clean, kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of space for our family of 5 and our dog. Dishwasher was small, but kept up with our family fine. Close to great park and walkways. 15 mins drive to Woorim or Bongaree. Drawbacks: lots of knick-knacks around that aren't great for younger, inquisitive children and mattresses on both beds weren't great, which lost a star for my overall rating.

To visit terminally ill son; subsequent death & funeral (not a holiday)

Unable to identify any microwave safe bowls etc. Pet friendly but query secure for small dog (I leaned two tiles to block an opening) and worried if safe - accumulated garden waste behind shed could (?) attract snakes.
