The check-in process was difficult. Management company does not fully grasp some of the security systems that corporate people have on their phones. The expectation is that you can pull up a PDF and they’re unwilling to accommodate any variance from that. The facility was grimy. The floors were sticky and grimy. If you’re gonna make any food there, you have to bring absolutely everything. Things are simple as salt, and Pepper don’t even exist. The workout facilities are located and shared between two buildings. We stayed at the other building before two years ago. The facilities were fine two years ago. They are rough and beat up. They have not done any maintenance and everything is worn down or in a state of disrepair. The facility itself is pretty well worn and again minimalist repair. By the way, the king size bed is not a king size bed. It’s two twins pushed together. so if you’re a single person sleeping in the middle of the bed, there’s a huge hole that you’re gonna slip into. Just keep that in mind. When I entered the place it smelled like smoke. I told the front desk and they were really not willing to take responsibility for anything. They finally had a cleaning person come up and basically spray perfume over the room that absolutely made things worse for two days. I had to open up the doors and windows for two days in order to even tolerate the interior smell. I think the owners need to find a new management company because to be honest they’re not doing their job
