Great location close to motorways for us to explore the Cotswolds and other areas. Nice and quiet and comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant was delicious. The service from staff on the front desk was great. They were extremely helpful.

This could be a great hotel. The location and affordability make it a good choice. Sadly it's tired and a little grubby. The one member of staff we saw was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok but the bed linen and towels were grubby.

Great hotel, excellent value

We had a great stay at Compass Inn. The room was lovely and well equipped and the bathroom was sparkling clean and looked new. Rupert kindly assisted us with our heavy bags, all staff were exceptionally helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay in Cotswolds.

Beautiful property with nice amenities and amazing lovely people. For example, we arrived two times very late after the kitchen was closed, and both times the chef just jumped and helped us with a hot meal for our son.

Excellent service from all the Staff, very helpful and polite throughout our stay, all of us agreed and there were seven of us. Park and ride for Bath not far away either. would definitely return again.

Positives were the location near the M4, easy parking, nice outside area, and a nice bar and restaurant. The room was a bit small but functional but there was some noise from adjacent rooms which I think was caused by pumps operating the water and showers. Overall, however, our stay was good value for money.

A Convenient Stop Off on the Cotswolds Way

Staff were excellent and food a good standard. It is a slightly odd motel style hotel that could do with updating. Bedroom was average as was the bathroom. Overall probably what was expected.

Although acceptable, it could’ve been a little cleaner. Lots of banging doors, but only to be expected in a traditional old building. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast and dinner was delicious. And you cannot be those surroundings!
