I hate this flat more than you can possibly imagine. The car park is a joke requiring 87-point turn if you drive in rather reverse in. The communal space is filthy and poorly maintained. The renovation clearly used the cheapest materials & left it mostly unfinished. Everything is done as cheaply as possible. Asking for a second set of keys was denied (they are just Yale keys!) At 7am we were met with most awful howling noise which I initially thought was a building site which turned out to be the noise of the boiler…. The flat is on the top floor with three steep stairs to climb - no lift. We are both in our sixties & my other half has a bad hip.They really should warn people only to rent who young and fit. We stayed one night then moved to a hotel.

Couldn’t find property. Very poor instruction. Pictures didn’t match anything. I had a local cousin with me and he thought it was outrageous and he is a Bristol resident.

Met my expectations

The property doesn’t look quite as smart as the photos suggest. It’s still nicely refurbished but is a little bit worn in places. It could really do with a deadlock or security chain on the front door. The WiFi was a bit hot and miss, especially in the bedrooms which is strange for the size of the property. The washing machine is not a full dryer and there was no clothes airer provided for drying clothes. The parking space was very handy. It would be helpful to have a what3words or pin as Google maps does struggle with the address, although this was clearly highlighted in the checking in instructions. The bed was comfy, there is a mattress topper although this did require repositioning each morning. The sofa was not especially comfortable. The location is handy and I could get everywhere I needed to in Bristol with ease. It isn’t accessible for those less able with three flights of stairs into the property. The apartment was reasonably well equipped for self catering with a lovely new kitchen and high quality appliances. I had some issues with the security deposit via hotels.com and them seemingly not collecting it in a time to suit the vendor. This apartment met my expectations but scope for improvement.
