very clean place, many tv channels, feels safe (parking etc), friendly staff, lovely countryside location but the cons were: king size bed felt a lot smaller than a king we kept rolling into each other, no mini bar to put drinks or your own food, no hot water in the room so no shower and cold face washing, no hot food at breakfast was not so lovely in cold months-- I'd have paid for scrambled eggs on toast, no full length mirror anywhere in the room which is not a big deal only there is nowhere to do make up for the day-- the bathroom is so dimly lit that I had trouble with my contact lenses and my husband opted not to risk shaving. If this happens in a hotel then I usually sit cross-legged on the floor by a wall mirror with my make up spread out on a towel but as I said, no usable mirror with good clear lighting that I could use. Also, there is only a fleecy throw with a sheet on the bed instead of a duvet. There's a spare blanket in the wardrobe but it slides off everywhere during the night. I haven't encountered such bedding in years, wow. If none of these things are likely to be of any disappointment to you, then you'll enjoy your stay in this clean, polite quiet hotel.
