Would stay again

Cozy, homely and comfortable. I stayed with my 4 adult children and there was plenty of room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Trains were frequent throughout the evening but didn’t disturb sleep. Tricky driveway to navigate from one direction.

2 Railway Cottage

A short car drive to Brockenhurst and in the thick of the new forest this well appointed and secluded property fits the bill for a quick escape. Lovely dining and conservatory area with room in the garden for barbeque or alfresco dining. Clear communications from the owner and a memorable family stay, recommended !

Overall, we enjoyed the stay.. the beds were comfy, the kitchen worked well, the shower was good. However the state of the living room furniture was poor … covering up damaged upholstery is not acceptable. TV needed replacing in the living room.Empty bottles left under basin in bathroom… no rinse aid in the dishwasher… . Too many personal possessions left in the property.Wouldn’t cut it on Four in a Bed ! Attention to detail sorely needed at this price point.Having said this though, a fantastic time was had in the New Forest.
