The Roosevelt, situated on the edge of Ouachita National Forest, is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway in nature. This brand new cabin is a spacious one bedroom with all the comforts of home named after the founder of the national park system, Theodore Roosevelt.

This secluded cabin features a king bedroom with an Original Tuft & Needle Mattress, a luxurious bathroom with large walk-in shower and soaking tub with a completely private view of the forest. For additional guests, we have a queen sofa sleeper in the living room, just right for kids or adults. You won’t miss a thing whipping up a meal in the fully stocked kitchen. Have a cup of coffee on the front deck listening to all nature has to offer!

Enjoy an evening in front of the gas fireplace in the living room or soaking in the hot tub located on the deck right off the bedroom! You’ll have plenty of space to enjoy a meal or work a jigsaw puzzle at the beautiful wood and resin dining table. There is also extra seating at the island in the kitchen.

The back deck not only boosts quiet views of the National Forest, but a dining area, gas grill, outdoor lounge and gas fireplace. Steps off the back deck you’ll find a firepit for enjoying s'mores or stargazing.

The Roosevelt is conveniently located off of Carson Creek Road near Beaver’s Bend State Park. Just down Carson Creek Road you will find beautiful Broken Bow Lake with a swimming/picnic area and a boat ramp.

Everything was great thank-you but I would leave instructions for others on using the washer, TV and I never could lock the door from the outside when we left. I had to lock the front door from inside and go out back door not a big deal just saying! Thanks again Mike / Londa Szurgot

The cabin was so peaceful! It being backed up to the woods was very nice. The hot tub was perfect temperature. The cabin inside was just so beautiful and welcoming. Had everything we needed! Would 100% stay here again. If I were to change something, it was would be how the directions are explained. Maybe use street names because it was hard to find because the GPS stops in the middle of the road but no fault to the owners for that one!

Normally I give these reviews out of courtesy to a nice host. But, this one is for you if you're trying to decide whether or not to utilize this property. It is a wonderful place to stay! It smells and looks new inside when you arrive. The hosts have thought of everything down to the smallest details to help you have the best experience in staying at their property. The cabin is perfect for two people. There are plenty of activities in and surrounding the cabin. It is serene and peaceful to stay here. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay!!!

Place was fantastic! Relaxing and quiet and very clean!!!! I LOVE THE BATH and hot tub! Bed was a little stiff but a pillow cover did the trick! Perfect location between Hochatown and Carson creek fishing areas. Mountain Fork Brewery had a great entertainment and the Peach Sneaky Snake Beer, Vanilla Bean Cider and spicy peach wings were so good! Neighbors the first night were a little loud, but left the next day. We took a trailer with a side by side. Turning the trailer around in the drive way was a chore, along with neighbors not giving enough room to pull a trailer in/out of the property entrance.

Perfect Escape to Nature

We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect size for the two of us and very secluded at the end of the road, but not difficult to get to. My husband had a short drive to fly fishing. The cabin was clean and well-stocked.

Great stay!

The cabin was in a great location that felt very secluded. It’s at the end of a dead end road, so you have a lot of privacy. The back patio and fire pit were great, and the cabin had everything we needed. It was very clean and felt brand new. We had a great stay here and would recommend to anybody!

The Roosevelt is absolutely amazing. Very peaceful and secluded for a quick weekend getaway for our anniversary. There are other cabins nearby, but you won’t know it while you’re there. The cabin is gorgeous and convenient to Hochatown. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Beautiful cabin!

We have a great time, but there were towels in the washer and no bags in the garbage cans. I had to wash the bed sheet because there was hair all over them and crumbs on the couch. I would talk with your cleaning staff. But it was a beautiful cabin and we had fun.
