“Was even cuter than the pictures showed! Very warm and clean and everything was clearly well thought out and provided for. I didn’t see anywhere on the listing that we would check in at the property upon arrival so I had to call VRBO to clarify before arriving since I had not received an email with check-in info like they said I was supposed to. “Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. “After a week camping in awful weather, I wanted to get a place whilst I met up with some old friends, I booked this place on line, and I'm so glad I did! It was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped, the owners are very friendly, and have done a great job in renovating the building into a 5 star accommodation, would highly recommend it”
