Great little spot to stay!

This place is SUPER cute, true to the pics, and clean! I loved the retro style! Check in was easy peasy, the beds and linens were super comfy and soft, the shower water pressure was great, and it was a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Simply the best!

It’s just as cute, clean and put together in real life as it looks in the listing! The host’s attention to detail and love for what she is doing is evident. Great communication, quiet little neighborhood, wonderful porch to relax on, comfy beds with nice linens; just what we were looking for for a weekend in Brownwood!

Truly enjoyed our stay. Quiet area. Loved going back into the retro era!! Comfortable, relaxing, and fun.Only down was no direct lake access where we stayed. Had to go 1/2 mile to get to lake, which was not a game changer. We still loved it and will definitely return. Terri was great and communicated 100%. More people should consider this place it is fantastic!!

Very well appointed, clean comfortable. Nice outdoor deck plenty of hot water for showers etc. great hosts. Everything you might need is there. Didn’t use hot tub, but looked inviting. We had 2 pickups and 2 boats,we had to be creative with parking. Hosts offered alternatives to accommodate us. Great for couples with kids. Bunk beds in second bedroom but we made them work. We are all in our 70’s. It was a good stay!

Weekend w/ Family

We enjoyed our stay at the melody and the nostalgia of it. I really liked that it was pet friendly and our dog was able to enjoy the lake with us. The neighbors were friendly and we saw tons of deer and baby deer. The hosts were super helpful!
