「Location was excellent. Close to Lake Superior, the park, and restaurants. Very spacious, easily accommodated 5 adults and our bikes. Property manager was friendly and helpful. Quite and safe. Loved it, might go back for snowmobiling. 」

「Cutest little cabin in a quiet town. Absolutely loved it」

「My family and I were here 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect; right next to the beach and a short walk to Main Street Ontonagon. The house is older but well kept and has everything needed. Communication with the host was great and Michael checked in with us during our stay. The listing is not exaggerating about the beach path right to the yard, and the beach is amazing. 」

「We only used the upsatirs and really liked the house. Very comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Was absolutely in love with the woodsy backyard to a mostly pine forest. Last night we stayed we had a spike buck come with in 30 yrds of us at the campfire. Super cool to finish off our wonderful stay. Sorry though, didnt take any pictures of the back yard 」

「Loved our stay in The Lighthouse. Needed to extend to an additional night and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend!」

「This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too. 」

「We had a great week here as a family of four. The place was spotless and ready for us to settle right in. The lighted path to the water was pure magic. And our kiddos loved the swing set in between beach adventures. There was no shortage of inspirational signs to remind us we were living our best “life at the lake.” All in all, it was a cozy and comfortable home base for our South Shore adventures.」

「Neat, clean, just as described. The boat lift was a great amenity. Plenty of room inside for our 6 adults and three kids. Lots of room for our 3-4 vehicles and 2 boat trailers to park. Hosts were easily reachable. Lots of other fishing opportunities within a 30 minute drive. 」

「We had an amazing stay! Beautiful, private lake. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable with our kids and dog.We hope to come back!」

「Great proximity to the Porcupine Mountains and the lake shore. We were able to do a day trip to Bayfield Wisconsin to the Apostle Islands, Ironwood, to Little Girls Point, to hunt for Yupper lites, and of course hiking in the mountains to find the waterfalls. All in all a great trip!」

「Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.」
