This was a great place to stay while exploring Porcupine Mountains, Keweenaw Peninsula, Apostle Islands, and Lake Superior Beaches. Nice central location. Host was excellent with communication. On Thursdays, you might even get the option for homemade pasties to be delivered. House is spacious, couches are comfortable. Many items provided to ensure you can eat at the house. Loved the experience

Had a fantastic stay here! Communication was excellent from start to finish. We received detailed check-in instructions four days before our arrival, and the owner even texted us while we were on the way to ensure everything was ready for check-in.The property is located next door to the owner, who greeted us when we arrived and showed us where everything we needed was located. The house itself is very spacious, featuring four bedrooms (including one with bunk beds), a large living area, a game room, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table. Its location was perfect for our week of hiking in the Porcupine Mountains. It's only about six miles from the park entrance, roughly 23 minutes to Lake of the Clouds and about 28–30 minutes to the South Boundary Road trailheads. It served as an excellent home base for exploring the Porkies. We had a wonderful stay, and the property was exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay close to the Porcupine Mountains

A new listing for the owner, but he lives in the area and met us on the way into the neighborhood, very attentive and concerned that we have a great stay. Lots of unexpected amenities -- Foosball, games, and books. Lots of room for a family to spread out. Highly recommend.
