「My family and I were here 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect; right next to the beach and a short walk to Main Street Ontonagon. The house is older but well kept and has everything needed. Communication with the host was great and Michael checked in with us during our stay. The listing is not exaggerating about the beach path right to the yard, and the beach is amazing. 」

「We had a great week here as a family of four. The place was spotless and ready for us to settle right in. The lighted path to the water was pure magic. And our kiddos loved the swing set in between beach adventures. There was no shortage of inspirational signs to remind us we were living our best “life at the lake.” All in all, it was a cozy and comfortable home base for our South Shore adventures.」

「We had an incredible stay at the Bergland Bay Hideaway! The home provides everything we need for a comfortable stay & the extra garage apartment is an added bonus! We’ve stayed at this property during the winter & loved it so much that we had to come back during the summer. We brought our boats & used the launch just down from the house. The dock included with the house was perfect. Highly recommend & can’t wait to come back! 」

「We only used the upsatirs and really liked the house. Very comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Was absolutely in love with the woodsy backyard to a mostly pine forest. Last night we stayed we had a spike buck come with in 30 yrds of us at the campfire. Super cool to finish off our wonderful stay. Sorry though, didnt take any pictures of the back yard 」

「Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups 」

「Neat, clean, just as described. The boat lift was a great amenity. Plenty of room inside for our 6 adults and three kids. Lots of room for our 3-4 vehicles and 2 boat trailers to park. Hosts were easily reachable. Lots of other fishing opportunities within a 30 minute drive. 」
