「The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even decorated our room for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. The rooms are very nice, modern and love the full size kitchen and BBQ pits outside. The lodge is close to stores, local resteraunts and even several bars and dance halls. Definitely a five stars in our books.」

「Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway to visit family and enjoy a fishing trip turned into a very disappointing experience. 1. Poor cleanliness and maintenance: Filthy floors and dishes, visible mold in multiple areas, broken ceiling fan, loose kitchen sink, falling wall panel, and a smoke alarm that randomly goes off. 2. Unacceptable accommodations: No water for 24 hours, very low shower pressure, uncomfortable and inadequate seating, and my...

「Best please I been to hands down and I always book stays. This was one I will definitely be visiting again and the host was super helpful, informative and friendly!」

「This host is extremely welcoming and goes out of her way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Lots of great amenities. We loved the pool! The hot tub, fire pit, grill, and lake view were all enjoyed. She has kayaks available to guests to use on the lake which was awesome.」

「Vintage motel near Lake Buchanan. Great for a fishing trip or weekend at the lake.」

「This property is very spacious and comfortable. If you wanted to gather, there was a large space. There was also room to be alone, uf wanted. The view is spectacular. The host is extremely available to handle any need that may come up. I enjoyed the collection of Reader's Digest Condensed books. Also, lots of programming was available on the TV.」

「The rental was as described and looked like the pictures. There were some hickups upin check-in but the host was very responsive and helpful to resolve them. We had an awesome stay here and I would definitely reccomend it.」

「Location was not accurate as shown before reserving. If you’re okay with a last minute spot with hwy 29 views it’s okay.」

「Has to face shower head at walls just to keep it from shooting straight out of the shower. Have to turn the hot on all the way and barely any cold to make sure you get a warm shower. No shelf or anywhere to put shampoo or soap in the shower. Hot and cold switched on sink. Bathroom light flickers on and off the whole time like a strobe light. Air conditioner unit sounds like a diesel truck flooring it down the road. Giant cobwebs in the bathroom…one right by my face when I leaned over the sink....

「The place is an old, raunchy roadside motel and storage. I would never stay in that place again and would not recommend it to anyone. I downloaded an app to check the decibel level of the air conditioner (that is directly next to the bed). It measures at 68 decibels. Tried to contact the manager, but they were conveniently gone. Overall, I'm not clear how the place passes inspection. We just need a place to crash for two nights while attending a weekend party at the lake, so we didn't want to...

「Perfect for a quick weekend get away to the hill country. Delightful property inside and out! Easy check in and a gracious property owner.」

「I didn’t want to write a public review because I own an STR and I know what a bad review can do, but I’m extremely unhappy. There was nothing in that place. No coffee. No laundry detergent. I know it said there was no potable water, but it was still a bad experience using what was likely lake water for everything. I honestly would have given a 5 star review in spite of all that, but my daughter slept in the bed on the left upstairs and she was awakened to ants all over her. She has about 20 ant...
