Fortunately I picked up a Local SIM card at the train station. There was no one at reception- only a QR code to scan for check-in procedures. And that referred me to the agency where I booked the reservation. There, I did find check-in info. Construction of a subway station near the hotel limited access to restaurants or stores. There was access to an elevated walkway that crossed Central Expressway to the other side and it has elevators. The restaurant, Bistro Weiss, was good.

The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport by Uber or by bus (line 100, 5min walk from the hotel, runs 24h; that bus also gets you to downtown in the other direction). The rooms are modern, very clean, and safe. Due to a booking error on my side, I needed to communicate with the hotel. They were very responsive and helpful. Just on the other side of the road where the hotel is located, you can find a Rumanian Restaurant and a coffee shop. They have no breakfast but a bakery is close by. The hotel was ideal for me as I had a flight at 6:00 am but still wanted to explore downtown Bucharest.

Convenient location and simple yet good hotel. Make sure you get wifi connected immediately, as sometimes wifi needs rebooting. Friendly manager and safe location.

Very clean room and good location for the airport. Spacious shower, comfy bed. Mini fridge and air con were very handy on a hot May night. Fid not get the chance to use any of the amenities in the reception area and did not have to contact any staff. The only issue I had was that the front door remains unlocked all the time which is a safety concern, especially for a single female travelling alone at night.

You receive a WhatsApp with all your info on, the hotel was not manned but we got there late, but we already had our code to get in to our room, there was bottled water for you and a coffee machine in lobby, only thing I would have liked was 2 pillows but that’s not a complaint that’s just me
