Staying at this glamping pod near Bude gives couples and families the perfect mix of coastal adventure and laid-back Cornish living. Keen walkers will be spoilt for choice thanks to the network of footpaths and bridleways that span the countryside and hug the rugged coastline, offering spectacular views and fresh air. Bude (1.5 miles) is a lively yet relaxed seaside town, surrounded by some of the finest beaches on the North Cornish Coast. Enjoy fresh fish and chips by the sea or settle in for a traditional Cornish cream tea in one of the town’s cafes. The charming harbour village of Boscastle (13 miles) is a must, with its dramatic coastal scenery, pretty harbour and independent shops. A little further on, Tintagel (17 miles) invites you to step into legend, with the spectacular Tintagel Castle, the National Trust Old Post Office and the mystical Merlin’s Cave.


Inside, the pod is a smartly designed, all-season hideaway, fully insulated and fitted with underfloor heating to keep things snug on cooler evenings out of season. Its softly curved walls create a cocoon-like atmosphere, while the full-width front opens to sweeping sky views. You’ll find a luxurious king-size bed dressed with fresh linens, a pull-out bed or futon for children, beanbag seating for laid-back nights, and a compact kitchenette for preparing light bites and drinks. Just outside is your own private wet room, complete with a heated shower, WC and hand basin.


Head out onto the private deck, where a gas BBQ-oven sets the scene for al fresco dining, with landscaped lawns stretching gently around the pod. For larger gatherings, extra pods can be reserved and the shared BBQ house used for sociable meals. Off-road parking for one car is also provided, keeping arrivals and departures easy throughout your stay.
