「So we picked The Gap house because the pictures looked intriguing and we wanted something close to our family. It looked like it had a decent outdoor space. When we got there we realized the pictures could not tell the whole picture. The back yard was amazing. The house was full of character, clean and had great little touches that show that the hosts really care. The hosts parents live next door and they are so helpful and just loved on our family. They are the best. I want to come back again...

「Rating a 4/10 The home itself is a place with adequate space and sleeping arrangements for guests. So, a great space if all you need is a place to lay your head for a night, but I rated it a 4 because there was no toilet paper available. We had to purchase it ourselves, which is a little ridiculous. Also had to provide our own ice, as the ice machine on the fridge doesn’t work. I also wouldn’t advise using the kitchen to cook, as utensils available are pretty slim. So, if you plan to stay...

「This little efficiency was great for my needs while visiting in Abilene. Everything worked, and the bathroom was fine. I did some limited food preparation without any problems. Comfortable furniture and cute table to put books or papers on. I would stay there again.」

「It needed hand soap at the sinks. We found some in a closet but not enough. Only had one roll of toilet paper. Contacted the host and she brought us more. Had trouble locking most of the doors. The apartment was very nice and decorated to be very inviting. 」

「Neighborhood is super quiet with friendly neighbors. Home is older and needs more work (exterior doors, locks, caulking), but was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Really appreciated the instant hot water in the bathroom! Backyard was a bit of a disaster (tall weeds, debris) for the dogs to use. Location was perfect for our needs.」
