“Friendly helpful staff. Very gracious in helping my elderly mother.”

“Staff was very friendly. My room was never cleaned. I had fresh towels on day 3, but other than that I had to ask to have things done.”

“Small pool was completely overrun with young boys (little league?) -- unsafe jumping and running around. My boys were nearly jumped on 2x and were hit on the head with a ball. Supervising adults were visibly intoxicated and actively drinking at pool. Was going to complain to manager but when he came out of the darkened restaurant to the desk, he himself was disoriented and apathetic to situation. Was given 2 towels for 4 ppl staying in room. Buffet breakfast cost $50 for what other hotels would……

“The hotel seems to be under construction and not up to snuff. There were strange smells immediately in the lobby. The pool was out of order and this was a big disappointment. The sheets were wrinkled as if someone had just used them or they had sat in a wrinkled pile. There was a rip in the curtains. The bathtub drain did not close to seal the tub so I could not take a bath. It was dirty all around the drain. The shower head had pink gunk on it. The lock on the door was broken. After……

“The front desk clerk was kind and tried to be helpful. The property and rooms were dirty and run down. We did not use the pool so unable to comment on that.”

“The is a okay place to stay if needing a bed and that’s it.”

“Lovely historic hotel! A bit outdated in some areas, but still maintained. Staff—very friendly and helpful.”

“I was very surprised that there was not a complementary breakfast. As I was showering in the morning, I found a washcloth hanging over my shower curtain from a previous person’s stay. As this hotel was connected to a casino when I came home Friday evening from visiting my relatives I had to park significantly far away from the front door of the hotel. That was a safety issue for me.”

“Room had damage to walls, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the thermostat did not control the temperature. For 250 a night I would expect the rooms to be taken care of.”

“Leave out the breakfast and lower the price. The included breakfast was sub par.”

“We had a late arrival and had to call to gain access to the motel and the room.”

“The doors were all broken and just stayed opened. There is no elevator on the property. The breakfast is poor in that it’s just cereal and waffles. The outlet placement in the room is bizarre, like right over the headboard. The manager didn’t even tell us what time breakfast was-I was supposed to read it on the key card. And speaking of key card-it deactivated (which the manager says happens all the time) so we had to run back downstairs, outside and to the front desk. The bed was very hard and……
