「Staff was very friendly. My room was never cleaned. I had fresh towels on day 3, but other than that I had to ask to have things done.」

「This hotel is very out dated. The curtains in our room were ripped. The window casing was broken. Would have liked to have a night table on both sides of the bed. The tub had stains. Toilet seat moved around like it wasn't on tight enough. The breakfast was disappointing. Stayed 3 days in a row and all had some sort of sausage each time, no bacon? The whole breakfast needs improved except for the waffle iron. There were no options on the TV to stream any streaming services. The pool needed...

「Requested an early check in a day in advance. Was told 1:30 "would not be a problem" and room was not ready until 3:30. Breakfast area could not accommodate the number of guests there. Shower drain was plugged, left you in inches of standing water.」

「I was placed in two different rooms. Both had broken lamps (3 total). One had a broken closet door, water pooling in the dishwasher, crumbs in the drawers and dog hair in the sofa bed. The other had a broken phone and filthy stovetop. The beds and bathrooms were clean, so that was good. The entire floor had a terrible smell that lingered for the 3 days I was there. 「We love staying at hotels with character. This hotel was conveniently located for a quick layover as we were heading to our vacation destination. We will be looking for other accommodations for our layover on the way home. Our room, the elevators and hallways are in need of updating. The bed was just okay, but the pillows were flat. There was also toothpaste on the inner rim of the sink from a previous guest. Not our favorite stay.」

It is a beautiful house decorated with vintage furniture, comfortable beds, beautifully tiled bathrooms, plush robes, and hosts Dee and Willow who gave us a history lesson about the property and its prior owners, and made the most wondrous breakfasts each day before we began exploring Dubuque.」

「I found that the property and the room were dated. However, for the price, it provided a clean, very basic room with fridge and fair sized TV. Breakfast was adequate and enough to get me on the road. At this price, it was a clean and comfortable place to get a few hours sleep.」
