“Rooms was full of musty smell.. hard to sleep in”

“I stayed for three nights. Was here for work I’m a nurse. I asked on check in what time was check out they said 11 am. I asked if they had a late check out ( I work overnight) they said noon. I came this morning and checked in with the attendant to ensure I had late check out. I put the do not disturb sign on and went to sleep. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the location was convenient, with two great restaurants within walking distance. There were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The door handle to our room was extremely difficult to open, which raised a safety concern. In the event of an emergency, getting out of the room quickly could have been a problem. “I've stayed here a handful of times now when I come into town for business. It used to be really clean and very nice, but over the past few years its gone downhill a little bit. Its still pretty clean, but needs to be updated and is not as nice as it used to be overall.”
