「Our family of 4 including 2 children had a wonderful stay at the property which was super clean, comfortable (especially the beds) and had everything we could possibly need and more! The hosts who live next door were very friendly and communication was great, answering all our questions quickly and providing lots of local information. They left lots of lovely little extras such as milk, bread, butter and some treats too which were very much appreciated!The property is in a nice quiet location...

「The house was very clean, well equipped and quiet. We were staying to visit our daughter at college and this proprty was perfect for that. Its centrally located, easy to park and made a great base for our stay. The bedrooms are lovely and there is lots of living space. Theres even a cute garden. Highly recommended.」

「We loved our stay - property was clean and in good condition, and walkable to everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again. Pro tip - there’s a coffee shop run out of a church about a block away. Hours are atypical, but great coffee and the nicest people on planet earth!!!」

「The house lacked a womans touch. No plants, flowers, pictures on the wall, very little ornaments. No lamps in the two bedrooms.Blinds needed some repair.Little things, like clothes tags still in the bin in the bedroom from previous tennet.The mirrors in the bedroom were in need of a good clean, as was the one in the living room.The house was comfortable as were the beds. The bedding and towels were clean.The television was impossible to sort and to his credit, the landlird came to fix it. He...

「The property was very well equipped & in a lovely position on the site. It was very peaceful. The couple of queries we had were immediately resolved by the reception staff. If I was pushed to have a slight negative comment it would be that there were no instruction booklets for the kitchen appliances. 」

「My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. Rooms were spacious and the location was suitable for my family. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family members.」

「We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. 「Check in fine.Did have to mention that property was wrongly advertised as having two showers.Lounge chair collapsed due to faulty worn legs No lid on waste bin in the kitchen.Sadly would not stay at this property in the future.」

「As described, convenient location to everywhere you can walk to in Cardiff. Property was clean, comfortable, air a bit smokey. Keeping the windows open helped alleviate the smell by the 2d day. Property was perfect for 2 adults -convertible sofa was comfortable and simple to operate. Property had a lot of thoughtful touches that were really appreciated. Future U.S. guests should bring their own power converter in order to recharge phones, tablets, and MACs. Local shops closest to the property do...

「Ideal little crash pad for a couple of days in Cardiff. Great location, with lots of nice cafes and bars around」

「We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carthouse. It's a lovely property in Axbridge, with Cheddar Gorge within easy reach. Communication with Val was excellent and also waited on the side of the road to show us the entrance to the side road. The Carthouse was spotlessly clean and Val had left several thoughtful items to get us started including bread, milk, wine and cider! Thank you Val, it was much appreciated. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.」

「Terrible property - due to stay here for 5 nights but posed such a health risk that we left immediately and checked in elsewhere at great expense. Sacks of rubbish left, outdoor dining area unusable, dangerous shower, bedroom fans covered in thick dust and mould. Is not as described - is a mid terraced property, not semi-detached as the pictures suggest. Neighbours garden full of trade waste and arguing with each other so would have been unpleasant to sit outside. Undesirable area. Do not stay...
