"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"Wanted a lower cost place to stay outside of Edinburgh. Older building/guest house. Worked great for a budget place to stay while exploring this area of Scotland. "

"Well equipped spacious studio with nice decor. Mattress needs an upgrade. Towels should be replaced as they were shabby and stained. The shower base was not draining properly. Either TV was impossible to tune or there was no terrestrial or freeview channels. Record player was broken. But concern was safety as no lock on shared back door lock on ground floor and was left wide open. A bit of noise from neighbouring properties. Lack of accommodation in area so might be reason for lack of attention...
