Loved the oldie worldlyness of the place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good we ate at dinner and breakfast. Our only complaint was the bed, we like soft/medium but that was firm bordering on rock hard.

Geordie guy who checked.us in was top drawer. Really friendly. The patrons were really friendly and we ended up having a chat with many regulars. Great place to stay.

Very pleasant stay In be a lovely old pub. Room was very clean and warm, and bigger than expected . Water was very hot which was a nice change to some establishments I think only fault would be quite hard mattress and hard pillows. The place itself was great but room 1bed was so hard and uncomfortable but breakfast was great wifi a bit slow .But very close to January barns so did the job

Excellent. Friendly staff. Very clean premises. I was surprised by the Expedia site which quoted breakfast for the standard room at £10.50 each but for the Courtyard room £18 each. Embarrassing because the hotel menu quotes £10.50!!!!
