Firstly, I love Butte, such a great town, and I understand that staffing is a huge challenge. We visited for the Montana Folk Fest, which is an annual event that the hotel could have been better prepared for. Our room was half made up and not super clean. Coffeemaker, but no coffee. 2 towels for a room that sleeps four. Only one of our beds had a bedspread, the other had a plain brown blanket as the bedspread. When we reached out to housekeeping for coffee, we got packets that wouldn't work with the machine in the room. The lobby coffee station was lacking coffee most of the time. There was no spare tp, kleenex was empty.
While the hotel has some positives, onsite bar, and a great location for getting around Butte, the lack of preparation for an expected influx of guests was subpar.
