「It was the uncomfortable bed/pillows, the fire alarm going off at 5am that wouldn't stop and the long power cut the next day when i needed to work that caused me to leave a bad review.」

「What a beautiful inn. It’s quiet and the staff are all very friendly. I stayed there one night and chose it because of its proximity to Kynren. It was about a 15 minute drive from their car park. So convenient! Especially when you’re getting out of the show at 11 o’clock at night. Their breakfast in the morning had lots of options, both hot and cold. I wish I could’ve stayed longer in the area.」

「Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!」

「Great place to stay for a trip to Durham. Close enough to the centre but far enough that you’re in the countryside, with beautiful views. Immaculately clean, friendly staff and great food.」

「Kingslodge Inn is a lovely English country inn conveniently located near Durham train station and bus station. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bar & restaurant offer great good in a cozy environment. Just note that there isn't an elevator; I had to carry my big suitcase one floor up.」

「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」
