"We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. The apartment was spacious with very comfortable furniture. "

" We arrived hotel Acantilado in Tehuamixtle. Jalisco and the hotel informs us there are no rooms for us. We are 3 hours out in the middle of nowhere and it will be dark soon. I am thinking going to have to sleep in my car. So they now tell me that I can have a room for tonight, but it is not the room I paid for. I have only a place to sleep for tonight. "Wow, I don't even know where to begin. This was the most romantic, amazing hotel my wife have EVER stayed in and we travel a lot. We flew into PV and the hotel arranged a taxi to boca, where a panga was waiting for us. Abbey was our panga driver whenever he needed us (for an extra fee) and he was great. Once we got to playa caballo, they took our luggage and we walked from las animas to the hotel where we met Juan Carlos, the fantastic Manager. They greeted us with cocktails and we checked into...

"This house is so amazing and the hosts were really fantastic and helpful. Tucked up a large hill in the jungle with amazing views. The steps to the house are up a large hill and very steep and are not for elderly or really young kids. Would definitely stay there again "
