Comfortable Condo with a Terrific View

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this comfortable, clean and very well-situated condo. The complex boasts easy access to a quiet, swimmable beach, a very nice pool area and beautiful, well-maintained gardens. The unit has two spacious bedrooms, a comfortable sitting area and a kitchen which is supplied with basic cooking equipment if you wish to prepare your own meals, as we frequently did. We particularly appreciated the large propane barbeque on the terrace. A larger cutting board, paring knife and a couple of mixing/serving bowls would be welcome additions. We spent many hours on the large terrace, which faces directly onto the Sea of Cortez on one side and the manicured gardens on the other. While it was very convenient to have laundry facilities in the unit, we found that the dryer did not work well. This was not really a problem for us, as there is plenty of sunshine on the terrace in the morning, and clothes placed outside dried in a very short time. One disappointment was that I was not able to find any beach chairs, which were listed on the amenities. As we spent time on the beach almost every day, these would have been wonderful! Fortunately, I was able to find a beach umbrella. I was surprised that there was no printed information in the unit providing details regarding the wifi, TV, phone, etc. Over all, we found this unit to have everything we needed and we would definitely return or recommend it to others!

Another Fantastic Stay at Misiones del Cabo!

This was our second time staying in this complex. The room was beautiful & clean. The furniture was very nice & comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals or eat at the pool bar (has great food). Andreas at the pool bar is great & can also help you book excursions. There is a small mart there to buy food necessities & a grocery store is a short walk away (we didn't go there, only to the mart). The view from the balcony was just to die for - could see whales jumping out in the Sea of Cortez multiple times daily. We love this location! There are 2 pools & 2 beaches within walking distance. Very relaxing, quiet, & safe - mostly an older crowd. Great vibe. Friendly people at the pool. The marina & arch are just a quick Uber ride away (about 10 minutes or so). We are animal people, so enjoyed an iguana that hung around near the pool area & the small colony of feral cats that live near the parking lot. Talked to some residents & are happy that the animals are looked after. Negatives? Just minor - the weather & water temperature were a little cooler than expected in March - my fault for not researching the seasonal weather in Cabo before booking. Also wish there had been a note from owner in room (like last time when we stayed in different unit) w/some general directions, tips & suggestions. Since this was our second time here, we had a pretty good idea where everything was & what to expect, but I could see first-timers getting a little confused. EXCELLENT STAY!

Amazing Place!

The condo and complex was fabulous! We enjoyed our view of the ocean from our balcony, watching the whales leap out of the water and listening to the waves rolling in. We were pleasantly surprised to have access to a little, swimmable and private beach just down the path from our place, and I enjoyed exploring the tide pools at low tide. The pool and pool bar and grill were lovely and just a few yards from our unit. We were also pleasantly surprised to have a little convenience store next to us, and were able to walk over for liquor and food supplies. But we were also only a short drive from downtown Cabo itself. The condo was very clean and cozy, and had all the cooking supplies we needed. The only minor issue was that the dryer on the washing machine didn't dry our clothes very well. And getting the key from the security guard when we first got there was not very straightforward. When we eventually found him, he was confused about us renting a condo through Vrbo, but he eventually recognized the property owner's name and gave us a ride on his golf cart to the unit and gave us the key. After that, everything was great. My only wish was that there would've been hammock or lounge chair on the balcony, we probably would've slept there all night, haha. All in all, we had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay! We'll definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone.
