Before I begin, I would like to state that my family and I have done about 10 all inclusive properties in the greater Cancun area and have traveled to Cabo once before but on a separate property. This review will be based on previous Mexican family vacations and experiences and I will maintain an objective position as best as possible. Hope this helps other families.
Pros:
-gorgeous grounds, fitness center, and lobby
-food was very, very good; exceptional really. Neptunes and patron’s dinners were top notch and the taco bar was splendid (pricey if you don’t do all inclusive)
-rooms were roomy and had kitchenette
-pool was large and nice plaster (pebble tech)
-great views of the ocean and the rocks out in ocean near the famous arches.
-beach was very clean, no seaweed at all
-great water pressure and hot water, comfortable bed
Cons:
-time share property: they will try to get you to do tour and sell a time share
-limited restaurants and water activities
-shows are on another site w/ limited seating
-beach service was hit or miss and there MANY peddlers around the seating trying to sell you things constantly (yes, even drugs)
-i applaud the maintenance of property but they shut off the main water late at night without warning and we couldn’t flush toilet or wash hands also they were doing maintenance in a room above us another day and our room smelt like paint thinner. Again, no warning. On a separate day, they had to spray our room for pesticides. It was alot.
