Beautiful place to stay

It was a very beautiful place right on the beach. Loved the views and sunsets. You need a car for restaurants and activities but they have some things right there too. We had a relaxing time. My only issue was the bad roads to go anywhere- but that is not their fault.

Amazing!

This place is even more amazing than the pictures show! The grounds are beautiful, the pool is amazing and the beach is gorgeous. As amazing as the property were, the employees there were even better. We enjoyed chatting with a few of them. We had a small hiccup with the villa, but we certainly didn’t let it affect our stay. The property management was constantly in touch and worked diligently to get it resolved (and they did!). We would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend this place to others. We can’t wait to come back.

Just what the MD ordered…

Been here many times over the years (The Palms), first time in this unit, and first time during the ‘green (wet) season.’ Well provisioned, in a perfect world it’d be around the corner for the nicer sunsets, but the master bed was spectacular. Love for them to upgrade the casual outdoor furniture and have a couple chaise lounges downstairs, but these are VERY minor points. The Palms is great, this is a super unit, and we will be back, again, and many times!

Best beach front property on the pacific side

Just finished another magical stay at the Palms and it was splendid. Property is as stated on the listing and has all the necessary creature comforts you could want. Nice furnishings that are well maintained inside. Staff is always easy to work with regarding excursions, meals, golf cart rental, etc. Good people As beachfront as you can get with the pool and beach less than 30-40 meters away from your door step. The "ends" of the property are technically public beach and can be frequented by people that are not staying in one of the units. Doesn't tend to be a problem, but it has gotten louder over the years mostly just the weekends. Five years ago this wasn't the case but over time it has become more prevalent. For the most part everyone is respectable. We will be back for another stay.

Everything and more

Don’t need to go into the details cause others have done with a great job describing this paradise. Few things I’ll add/comment:- few reviews discussed the public beach. We found the beach to be A and basically private with no bother. Much much better than the beach near the W or Westin- the pool and ocean landscape was unreal. The pics don’t do justice-BlueZone and the onsite concierge were pretty phenomenal. Always available and very responsive even around the holiday. Made this place feel like a hotel. Alex from BZE was standout - kind and thoughtful and so resourceful. Helped stock our fridge and helped us so much. - loved not having to worry about waking up early to score a pool lounger. Literally no issue- lovely bartender at the pool every day, again felt like a hotel- cleaning service included was like deep clean - better than hotel- the restaurant nearby is just ok - Alex had suggested pleomar just a few blocks further and it was really great5 - no brainer. We are a family of four (2 adults, twin 7 year olds) from NYC

Amazing Place!

We stayed at this property in July after a 4 night stay in the La Fortuna area. From checking in, to departing, we had a great experience! The Villa was spacious, clean, gorgeous views! The amenities on the property were just what we were looking for. A pool bar, access to a beautiful and sandy beach, a restaurant nearby (Coco Loco delivers to the resort), and a warm pool. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was just the two of us on a couple's trip, but this would be a great place for families! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Experience

It was my first trip to Costa Rica and I'm so spoiled! Beautiful sunsets, beautiful property, amazing swimming pool and view of the ocean. Everyone on property doted on us, clear communications, and we even got a nice bonus during 4th of July! Wonderful time.

Be specific on your needs

Our overall impression was the property is wonderful. Know that you are paying for being right on the beach, private gym (if that is what you are into), access to paddleboard, kayaks, snorkel masks, and bodyboards. The Villas are nice but you need to be very specific on what you need. I thought we were getting Villa number 23 but was put in Villa 19. Also thought the spare bedroom had at least a Queen bed; it was 2 twin beds. We made it work. The Kitchen was amazing and had very good quality pots, pans, and everything you need. The coffee pot didn't work well but we got it figured out (it kept turning off before it was done brewing). The service provided by staff is top-notch.
