Villa Fugata: This truly spectacular one-of-a-kind home is a brand new awe-inspiring 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom luxury home that sits directly oceanfront on a cliff perched 100 feet above the pacific Ocean. Each bedroom features its own full bathroom, high end beds/linens, and spectacular décor and finishes. The property features A/C throughout and boasts a few different private decks on both levels including a private 2nd level deck that sits perched above the ocean. The beautiful infinity edge pool will leave you refreshed and relax as you take in the truly breathtaking 180 degree views above the waves, beaches, coves and estuaries of gorgeous Playa Flamingo!

The kitchen has been designed for the discerning food lover, with Professional stainless equipment, refrigerator, wine cooler, oven, dishwasher and gas cooktop stove. There is also a washer and dryer, phone, WiFi and cable TV. All of this is intermingled with the spacious living area with ample seating and is a space that seamlessly blends from indoors to outdoors with an open air concept. Relax on the sunset terrace, enjoy the sundeck on your chaise lounge or just take a seat and overlook the infinity pool as the picture perfect sunset spectacle happens daily. Nature abounds around Villa Fugata including monkeys, birds, iguanas, butterflies, and even whales in season!

The master bedroom has a king bed, full bathroom with full ocean views.
The guest bedroom has two twin beds,which can be pushed togehter to form a king bed.

The host is absolutely amazing and acts like a personal concierge helping to arrange private tours, private chefs, in-house massage. The works! The cleaning lady is awesome, and she will do laundry. The grounds crew cleans the outside ant the pool each day. We absolutely loved this trip! Totally fantastic all the way around.

The house is nice, view is fabulous! Master shower wand needs replacing( it fell off in my hand. Sink handle in other bathroom fell off and needs adjusting. There are ants everywhere! They got on our items we left on bathroom counters! A net should be put up above pool so leaves are not in it all the time. 10 minutes after they clean it’s full again. The stairs has no hand rails. Would be difficult for a lot of people. 2nd bedroom has a tub outside, would be great but the master balcony would see you. Should have a screen to put up!

Everything about our stay was AMAZING. The host is incredible. She proactively reached out and offered us many recommendations on things to do. She arranged for a private boat and an in house chef. Her property is nothing short of spectacular and her team was also welcoming and fantastic. We would stay here every time we visit. The views will take your breath away!!!

Absolutely Incredible — A Romantic Paradise with Unmatched Service!Our stay at this amazing Costa Rica home in Playa Flamingo was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spectacular views — the ocean panoramas and sunsets here are even more breathtaking in person than in the photos. The house itself was very clean, well maintained, and beautifully appointed — making it the perfect backdrop for our romantic milestone birthday celebration. Every detail felt intentional and thoughtful, with comfort and relaxation clearly in mind. What truly set this experience apart was our host, Bilitis. She was absolutely phenomenal — thoughtful, patient, and incredibly attentive. Having her support was like having our own private concierge throughout the trip. She helped arrange chef services, daily massages, grocery stops, a beach club outing, and gave amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities. We felt so well cared for every single day. The daily cleaning service was a wonderful bonus that kept everything fresh, allowing us to fully unwind without a worry. Thank you to Bilitis and her entire team for making our stay so special — you helped turn a beautiful location into an extraordinary experience. We have stayed in Playa Flamingo many times and rented many very nice homes over the years, but none as beautiful as Villa Fugata. This is home is truly spectacular and perfectly appointed. Furnished with everything you could possibly need for your stay should you lay by the pool or venture down to the beautiful beaches…everything was perfect. The pictures do not accurately represent how truly special this home is including the unbelievably picturesque view. In addition, the host went above and beyond in helping us set up massages at the home, personal chefs to come and cook for us, excursions etc…. This was a very memorable vacation and the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!!!!!

This property was truly amazing! The views of the Pacific and surrounding mountains were spectacular. The sunsets were phenominal.The house was spotless. The owner provides daily maid service and daily pool cleaning. The small things make this property stand out. The beds are really comfortable, the air conditioning is cold, the shower has good pressure and the water is hot. This property is very well taken care of. The host is very responsive and helpful. We had a large flock of Green Parakeets in the tree out back and saw iguanas out near the deck. This house truly has everything! We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

We spent 8 nights in July at Villa Fugata and it was amazing. The communication from the host, Bilitis, was always prompt and included lots of recommendations for local restaurants, etc. our arrival was smooth and easy. Once there, we received quick responses to any questions we had.The villa is gorgeous and offers great privacy, while being in a prime location with groceries, restaurants, and Playa Flamingo just a few minutes away by car. Villa Fugata has a very beautiful and modern aesthetic and had everything we needed for our stay. We were two couples and there was plenty of room for us. The outdoor spaces are sublime, and the bathroom outside by the pool was clutch. I loved waking up to the green parakeets that hung out on one of the trees outside, and enjoying coffee from the covered patio outside the master suite.While there, we saw lots of cool birds, an iguana, some smaller lizards, crabs, and the most spectacular sunsets, as the house faces directly west and has clear views of the ocean. We even saw a sea turtle and a sting ray in the ocean from the balcony.Benjamin and the cleaning ladies provided amazing service, as well. We loved our stay at Villa Fugata and would absolutely return!

Paradise in Costa Rica!

From the moment Bilitis opened the door to show us into the property, we were in love with this house! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the whole house is comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The views are even more spectacular than the photos - waking up to wide open views of the ocean and resting on the patio while watching the sunset every night is exactly what we needed on this vacation! The staff keeps the house spotless - they clean the pool first thing in the morning, and they came to clean the house while we were out during the day. Bilitis went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable - when we had any minor issues, she responded immediately and fixed it! She even had ice cold drinks waiting for us on our arrival. I was so grateful for help with the laundry - Bilitis even said “it’s not a vacation if you have to do laundry” - the first time we handed over our laundry bag and they brought everything back the next day washed and folded. A couple days later, we were surprised to see that they took the laundry bag without even being asked, which was so thoughtful. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and have tons of storage space (which was not the case in other places we stayed on this vacation). We kept doors closed so there were no insects inside the house, but we saw lots of crabs and iguanas on the street leading up to the house! I would come back to Costa Rica just to stay in Villa Fugata again! Five stars!!!

Couldn't imagine a more beautiful setting!

This place was beyond words. It was so very comfortable, the service and communication was amazing, and the location could not be beat, perched atop the cliffs, overlooking the ocean! We enjoyed watching the birds with our morning coffee, taking shelter from the rain & watching the thunderstorms from the covered upstairs patio, which was very large. The location made it easy to beach hop & check out local restaurants. Our host was so helpful & accommodating. We enjoyed the pool after a long, hot day, and all the amenities the host offered were fantastic. We will definitely stay again. couldn't imagine a better place!

Amazing Views

Spectacular view, well equipped kitchen (we cooked every night except 2 of our 8 nights), beautiful sunsets and responsive/accommodating host who coordinated our activities and driver. We rented a car in Liberia to get to the house and drive in the immediate Playa Flamingo area, but a driver was such a great choice for our excursions due to the places we toured and cell service is intermittent, at best, for gps. Johnny was our driver and guide for 4 days - he was great and we learned so much about the locals through our conversations with him. Perfect and private location for our stay since we prefer not to be at a resort with lots of people. We chose not to have the cleaning service every day for our privacy, but it is offered every day except Sunday. This home has a/c and the cooktop/oven is gas, so we used battery powered carbon monoxide detectors for precautions. A hair dryer is provided and all outlets are the same as in the US. Both bedrooms/bathrooms are on the 2nd floor. Coco Loco and La Forketta deliver to the house - we ate lunch at Coco Loco one day and had dinner delivered another night since it was so good. La Forketta was closed for two weeks so we were not able to order from there, but it looked great. We ate at Surf Box at the marina for lunch and it was very good. We would stay again at this home.

The Best VRBO We’ve Stayed At

First of all, the house, property and view were exceptional. But what really made this rental spectacular was the concierge-like service from Bilitis. There was not one thing that I asked him that he couldn’t get an answer for. On top of that, he went above and beyond in making arrangements for every activity we wanted to do. He used all of his local contacts to provide the most amazing experience for our family. We tried every restaurant he recommended and all were phenomenal. We would come back to this place strictly because of the service we received from Bilitis and his team. If you’re considering booking this residence or Casa Frisons, don’t hesitate! Book it now! It’s worth every penny!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Villa Fugata property in Flamingo, Costa Rica, and it exceeded all our expectations! We loved our stay at Villa Fugata and the amazing hospitality provided by Bilitis, Benjamin, and Solange. They had every utensil you could think of in the kitchen, pool towels, a speaker, daily laundry and cleaning services.
