“We loved it! I’ll start with the basics. Super clean room and property. Room (#5) was a good size and bed was comfortable. Decorated so nicely. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Great bedding and towels. Free parking. What I didn’t expect was the room was filled with lovely amenities!. From the luxurious Canadian soaps and shampoos, to the fridge filled with sparkling water and cream, to the abundance of coffee pods (tea also), decent coffee cups and beautiful glasses. My husband kept going on……

“We loved the location on the ocean!! Cabins were excellent and very clean and very inviting. We wish we would have bought food and cooked our meal on the BBQ and enjoyed the setting longer”

“Clean room, convenient parking, and good restaurant on site. The room had no fridge and there was no ice machine to fill our cooler (inconvenient given isolated location on the Cablt Trail). Staff was helpful in getting us ice from the restaurant.”

“Nothing wrong here. The property is a bit tired. If you want a quick, economical stay in this area, this is fine. If you are looking for upscale accommodations, please search elsewhere. Again, nothing wrong for a quick night stay.”

“I really liked the location and setting. It's perfect for someone looking to be fully immersed in nature. It's quiet, calm, and natural in every way. Staff were friendly and helpful. The remote beach behind the resort grounds is not to be missed - gorgeous! Saw a bald eagle perched on driftwood fairly early in the morning. I thought my mattress was a bit too thin and the springs quite noticeable. I was able to sleep okay, but it kept coming to my attention that it might be time to replace. I……

“Nice property in a very secluded and private area. No reliable wifi or cell signal on most of the property. Excellent restaurant with great food.”

“I've always enjoyed the North hotel. Only disappointment this time is that I travelled with my puppy and there are only double beds in pet friendly rooms which made sleeping poor. Otherwise, cleanliness was perfect.”

“Pleasantly surprised how nice the room was. Not what I expected at a roadside motel. Nice chairs out on the deck which had a lovely view of the lake. Breakfast dining area was very nice, food was just okay . Would stay again if we were in the area.”
