Staff was very kind and helpful, since the hotel was 6 hours from SJO we had to leave at 4 am and to our surprise there was a staff member there to assist with checkout. "Very nice, small and basic hotel so do not expect any special amenities (like gym) but there is a pool, which we used extensively. It’s is located very close to the beach in Carmen, restaurants and shops. They only serve breakfast there but it was good. Staff was amazing and very helpful (especially David, Luis and Astrid), there was a problem with AC but this issue was resolved promptly and professionally. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in Santa Teresa by The Beach."

"We had a great stay at Tango Mar. The owner always greeted us each day to see how we were or how our day was. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean."
