“I arrived just prior to front desk closing and check in was very straightforward, paying the US$8.10 per day Visitor Tax. I had a studio-type room suitable for a couple, complete with light-housekeeping facilities; bar fridge, cooktop and microwave. “All of the staff that we met were extremely friendly and professional, however they appear to be severely understaffed. We regularly waited over 45 minutes for meals after ordering, also we caught the boat to the local beach and the bar there was shut due to staff shortages, this meant we spent 3 hours without anything to eat or drink.
The location was very remote, which we knew before we booked. Taxis booked through the hotel were extremely expensive. We hired a car with Pete’s Taxis, excellent……
