200m2 Exquisite Family Home 19th Century Cádiz Historic District

It is a tastefully renovated property, a late 1800s building, authentic from Cádiz with its original Tower. It is a spacious and charming space to receive families, it is bright dressed with 4 balconies that overlook the Plaza de las Flores, high ceilings with its original beams and doors. Each room has its ceiling fan. There are 4 unique rooms, a large living and meeting room, 2 full bathrooms, and an exquisite kitchen that invites you to cook with your family. Being able to accommodate a family of up to 7 people, it is a place transformed with love and affection by its owners. Welcome!

Please note that the air conditioning is a mobile unit. These are old buildings, and we do not have the legislation to install units on the facades. Also, in Cádiz, fans are usually sufficient in the summer because the sea breeze starts to come in the afternoon.

The apartment is located easily accessible from the train station, a 15-minute walk. From Jerez de la Frontera airport there are 40 km, by taxi, the cost is approximately 50 euros, the closest point for the taxi to the property is the Plaza del Palillero at 5 minutes walking. It is worth mentioning that its location offers all the benefits of a city, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarket, shops, fashion, cinema, everything you may need. Not to mention the beaches and all the cultural offer of the moment. Cadiz also provides a perfect location to get to know other villages, whites, of the Sierra de Grazalema and the coast.

The apartment in the old city of Cadiz was great for our family of 4. Great location with easy access to both beaches and all the city has to offer. We loved walking around and just hanging out at the apartment with the windows open. It felt like we were still part of the action from the comforts of the home. Our kids loved all the toys (especially the legos). We will definitely be back!

Great location, eclectic place!

We had a nice stay in Cadiz at this property. Place was very unique and beautiful. The town was amazing. Unfortunately we had a heat dome in june and the temps were very high. Having no air conditioning in the bedrooms wasn't great but it was much hotter than usual. I would stay here again for sure.

We (family of 5) loved our stay in old Cádiz. It was our second time in the town and absolutely loved the location. Most reviews have mentioned the wonderful kitchen, which I agree with but I also appreciated the storage in the bedroom. I have never rented a place with an abundance of hangers. Overall a wonderful place to stay. We hope to return.

Best place in Cadiz!

This is truly a gem! Best location and apartment you can wish for in Cadiz! 6 minutes walking from parking at Las Canalejas! This home was perfect for our needs, close to everything and a balcony to listen to the Carnaval performers, central to all of Cadiz wonderful historical places! Thank you Raquel and Herve! Amazing Apartment in Old Town

Fantastic, large, quirky and artsy apartment in a great location, with a private elevator and multiple balconies overlooking a bustling pedestrian street with LOTS of shops and restaurants nearby. If we ever find ourselves in Cádiz again we will definitely stay here.

Wonderful Location in Cadiz - Feel like a local

We loved the spacious and airy apartment right near the flower shops and market in old Cadiz. The place had its own elevator, modern gourmet kitchen, balcony and updated bathrooms. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend the place to others looking for a place which is close to everything in Old Cadiz.

Central Cadiz

The apartment is wonderfully located and charming. It is very well equipped. We were there in the winter months and had to manage the cold with space heaters but all else was very comfortable, light and spacious.

Absolutely beautiful

We had the most wonderful stay at Hervé and Raquel's apartment. The location is perfect and the flat itself is incredibly special. Spacious, amazing high ceilings, beautiful interiors but also feels like home. My son absolutely loved it - thank you for being so generous with the toys and books in the children's bedroom. We would love to come back!

Fantastic place with tons of charm

The place is absolutely full of charm and very welcoming. Raquel is a super host and working with her and her team for ensuring smooth transportation, check in, cleaning etc deserves a honor mention here. The location is very central and close to everything but keep in mind that it also allows for street noise which ends later in the evening. Certainly a place to keep in mind when visiting Cádiz.

Comfort and charm

Well appointed apartment with charming furnishing, great functional kitchen and so close to the wonderful market. Easy stroll to the beach.in the centre of old Cadiz . Wonderful high ceilings. Well ventilated with light wells accessible from all bedrooms. Bathrooms were great and the laundry facilities first rate. We have stayed in 3 apartments in Cadiz and this was easily the very best

Great location in the Plaza de las Flores!

Our family had a wonderful week in this condo. The rooms are large and the living room and kitchen have balconies looking on to the plaza below. Everything in Cadiz is within walking distance. There is a multitude of restaurants to choose from, and all of the host recommendations were exception meals. The market and grocery store are around the corner. Highly recommend this property with thanks to our hosts!

A great experience overall and a huge place big enough for our group of two families of three. The location is perfect for visiting Cadiz old centre. A little loud on the Saturday night from neighbours and street but other nights were good. Mosquitoes were a problem, maybe it was the time of year.

Sorry to Leave!!

The photos are what drew us to book this property but, truly, they do not do it justice. Absolutely everything imaginable is included - the kitchen is better equipped than my own house! The location is in the heart of the old town, literally steps away from the central market and cathedral. Just leaning over one of the balconies to view the street scene below captures the true feel of Cadiz life. The perfect home away from home!!

Beautiful and well-kept apartment

This property was a true find! Well maintained and beautifully restored apartment suitable for families. We stayed here for four months in total and were very pleased with the location (close to everything one needs in Cadiz, markets/beaches/shopping/culture/bars etc.) and not least the hospitality of the owners. They made us feel welcome to their home and helped us with the very few questions we had. The apartment has everything one needs for a short or long stay, will definitely come back here again. Her Historic home on the 3rd floor is Centrally located in the Heart of Cadiz in the Plaza de las Flores not even 100 meters to the Catedral de Cadiz. The Market with freshly caught seafood, fruits & veggies and many cafes were steps from here. Also was a Carre Four market! This home is stocked to the nines!!! Used the expresso pot on stove and pizza pan for oven. The vintage wood and tiles, along with her decor, made this home a Standout amongst all the places we've stayed. Had beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards as well. Thank you so much for this relaxing stay in your lovely home!!!

Right in the Heart of Cadiz

Apartment is beautiful, high ceilings , original features and fantastic kitchen. Located right in the heart of Cadiz you have great restaurants literally straight outside your door, the central market 100m one way and the Cathedral Square 100m the other. It's busy during the day but by about 10:00 - 10:30 it goes quiet and the apartment is really peaceful. The apartment has a lift that goes straight into the kitchen so is great for the less mobile with just one step up to get into the building. Two great double bedrooms, one fantastic bathroom and another good bathroom, two further rooms that are great for 3-4 kids. Would recommend for large family groups .

La casa es muy bonita y cómoda, con todo lo que puedas necesitar, los electrodomésticos son muy buenos en especial la nevera. Nos encontramos muchos detalles útiles como jabón de lavavajillas, de lavadora, gel y champú. Estupenda la relación con Alicia que nos entregó las llaves. La plaza es muy animada y está muy céntrica, fuimos varios días al mercado de abastos, lleno de pescaderías muy buenas.
