The Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales has also become the UK’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021. Within easy driving distance there are a myriad exciting activities including mountain biking,surfing, sailing, excellent walking, riding and golf. Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, and a fine selection of shops, restaurants and pubs is just 4 miles away and is also the start of the Welsh Highland Railway for scenic journeys into the heart of Snowdonia.
