"We has a great holiday however the property was really clean, the fridge has a massive crack down the back of it inside, the TV was that old that we spent 3 days without TV as we could not get it working, loads of wires lying around easy for young children to grab, no cupboard space to put your food away, parking isn't great could do with parking spaces been made available, cupboard in bathroom says staff only but is only secured shut with gaffa tape. "We wish we could have stayed longer! We arrived late at night after our travel plans were delayed and Jan was so kind and accommodating and stayed up late to make sure we checked in. She even upgraded our room and offered us refreshments. The whole building is charming, with tasteful decor. The room itself (and bathroom) felt quite luxurious, were very clean with all amenities as advertised. Our only regret is that we only stayed the one night and couldn’t be there longer. We would absolutely come back."

"A one night stay to allow my son and I to stay over after climbing Snowdon. Perfectly located, a premium was paid because of this. A simple twin bedded room in the coach house, ideal for our needs. A bath was appreciated, bubble bath would have been a nice touch. Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. This was consistent throughout the hotel, especially the young man serving in the bar in the evening and also a waitress at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was self service and substantial. Highly recommended. An all round excellent stay, £166, breakfast included and free parking."

"A remarkable building, but still very much a work in progress Plas Glynllifon is an extraordinary place to stay. The building is genuinely impressive, full of history and character, and staying there feels very different from a conventional hotel. The welcome was friendly, the room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The setting is also excellent for exploring this part of North Wales. It is important to be realistic, though: this is still very much a hotel in development. Some of the facilities and infrastructure are not yet at the standard you would expect from a fully established hotel. During my stay the Wi-Fi was unreliable, there were no TVs in the rooms, and some parts of the property were clearly still being brought back into use. None of that spoiled my stay, because I knew I was staying somewhere that is being restored and developed rather than at a finished luxury hotel. In some ways it was interesting to see the building at this stage. There is no restaurant or bar at present, although there are places nearby. I particularly enjoyed Ty’n Llan, which is roughly a 20-minute walk away and was excellent for an evening meal. The real attraction here is the building itself and its potential. If the owners continue improving the practical side of the hotel while preserving its character, Plas Glynllifon could become somewhere genuinely special. I would stay again, but I would recommend arriving with the expectation that you are visiting a fascinating historic"

"We had a wonderful stay at Rhiwlas Cottage in Beddgelert. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, cosy, comfortable, and set in such a stunning location. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Snowdonia, with plenty of lovely walks and scenery right on the doorstep.A special mention to Lynn, who was a fantastic host. She was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and her thoughtful touches really made our stay extra special.Rhiwlas Cottage is a real gem, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful and memorable getaway in Beddgelert."

"A Gem of a place to stay, so quiet your own heartbeat will keep you awake, and a view of the landscape to adore. Breakfast is good, basic amenities (Cereal, Toast, Yogurts, etc) with cooked to order items and freshly cooked pastries was a nice touch. Lovely staff, friendly, attentive, and informative on the food locality. Dinner platters, fondue, and on-site bar a wonderful choice for a long day hiking when you're to tired to go out again."
