However, upon checking into this hotel, the rooms were extremely old, the lighting was uncomfortable, giving the feeling of being in an operating room. The photos looked great, but the reality was vastly different, with worn-out sofas. Very disappointed. This hotel doesn't even come close to a 4-star standard, and staying here was very unpleasant. Eventually left a day early and switched to another hotel.」

「I loved the charm of the hotel. You knew you were in New Orleans. Not a typical chain hotel. The staff was excellent. Helpful and personable. The room was beautiful and huge. Very comfortable. Great, great location!! My only complaint was the beautiful enamel tub. Even though I read other reviews that commented on how slippery it was, and was careful stepping in, I still took a hard tumble, hitting my neck and head on the rim of the tub. I reported my fall to the gentleman at the desk, and...
