We had a wonderful stay at conga hotel travelling with our kids (3 and 5 years old). The room was perfect and the location as well - walking distance from the town of puerto viejo and playa cockles. Good breakfast and atmosphere. The past part of the stay was however the lovely staff who did everything to make us feel happy.

We loved our stay at Conga! The room was clean and staff were really knowledgeable about the area and activities, helpful, and kind. Easily walkable to the main area of Puerto Viejo and Playa Cocles on the other side. Would definitely recommend!

Beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms made use of natural materials and modern fixtures. We could hear monkeys in the morning from the balcony! Dining area overlooking the lovely pool was picturesque. Breakfast was excellent. The staff went all out to accommodate us. Josue at the front desk helped us when our Waze let us down and was there to welcome us with coconuts! I wish I could remember more names because the entire staff was top notch.

Everybody was so helpful. They helped arrange trips and got me connected to the Tuk tuks. The food overall was quite good. Fresh fish was always an option. There is an Airbnb nearby and they got pretty noisy at times. So I was glad when they didn’t rent it out. Everybody was so kind to my dog. The breakfast was fantastic.

My room was extra clean. The food was excellent. Use colones. No need for US dollars. Maybe $100US. Bbut get colones before you leave the U.S.if you like food that is not fatty and you want a lot of veggies with your meals, this is the place. Plus you are on the Caribbean side where the beaches were magnificent. All the ppl who keep this place going do a wonderful job. Me and my dog just had a wonderful time. The staff made sure of that.

We splashed out at the end of our holiday and really enjoyed the time at the hotel. It wasn't quite up to what we expected though from the price. The window from our room looked out onto the car park and so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time or have no privacy. There were also very few sunbeds around the pool so we never had a chance to get out there. There were some excellent points though. We were given a lovely refreshing coconut drink when we arrived. The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there is tea and coffee available all day.

Great space and hotel BUT no electricity and water

The location is in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful common space and very Nice. The room was also good, just like in the pictures. However out of 5 days we only had electricity and water for 2 days in the room - and only cold water... It was incredibly frustrating not to shower or use the bathroom and the staff didn’t even notice until the next morning each time that there was an issue with the water. Quite a bad deal for 200$ a night when there is no water !! unfortunately, the hotel is really too expensive for what is it

This cute hotel was on the main road in Puerto Viejo, however, it sits back so you don’t hear all the noise from the traffic or restaurants. Great location. It rained most of our trip so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our 2nd day some little bugs appeared in the bathroom, there were a lot; we called and they came right up and sprayed. We had a cute balcony outside our room; I think they all have patios or balconies. I loved sitting outside the room hearing the nature when the sun would come up or at sunset. We added the breakfast pkg; mom had the American breakfast daily and I had the Pinto; good food. I will definitely be back to the city and the hotel. There’s no other restaurant on site but tons of places to eat within a short walk, Uber ride or Tuktuk.
