“The shower was not hot and it came out rustic and smelly. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Parking was plentiful. The hotel is tired, needs a bit of revamp, more cheerfulness. We found it dark and dingy.”

“We have stayed here 20 or 30 times and this is the first time I have had to write an average review. Parking was terrific and safe but we were let down by a shabby and shoddy room and shower. The skirting boards were devoid of paint. The furniture was old and tired apart from the bed which was as comfortable as usual. The shower cubicle needed re sealing and the shower head wouldn’t stay up under its own weight. The room was on the first floor and not a patch on the downstairs rooms adjacent to……

“It was a well maintained room and hotel. Very quiet and the room was spacious. It was a good place to stay and the breakfast was correct”

“Acceuil aimable. Calme Propreté”

“Personnel super et logement au top”

“It was ok”

“Room clean, bathroom very good with a nice shower. Walls very thin can hear conversation in next room etc. Breakfast was very good. Good for a one night stay.”

“Great spot. Lovely clean, well maintained hotel with lovely grounds and right next to a river where you can take a long walk. Super accessible location and very quiet surroundings. Only slight downside was the breakfast which was very limited.”

“Ristorante costoso ma scadente. Colazione con pochi prodotti. Asciugamani sporco. Vasca con scarico lento. Camera fredda.”

“Terrible hotel. This was the worst place I stayed at in France. The room had a horrible sewage-like smell that seemed to be coming from the ventilation. The towels were old, worn out, and unpleasant to use. When I tried to take a shower, there was only cold water. I went to reception, and after checking, the receptionist told me everything was fine. The water became slightly warm, but still not warm enough for a comfortable shower. The next morning, there was only cold water again. The……

“Trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Lugn och fin miljö.”

“Un hôtel où on se sent bien, où on est bien accueilli et j'y retournerai sans hésiter.”

“What an amazing location. Wish I would have had stayed a few extra days. Great paths to walk in the woods, tennis court, and a pool that is available 24 hours. Room was exactly what we were expecting. Staff very friendly and helpful with any questions about the area.”

“The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar food is basic but the hotel is very close to other options. It us my preferred choice for this area of France.”
