Initial views are not good as a lot of building work is taking place. However, get to the 3rd floor and you are in a very welcoming environment. Breakfast is good and the staff are lovely.
Very nice hotel staff is always ready to help
Very convenient location staff go extra mile
To help if next time in Cairo definitely I will
Stay in this hotel.breakfasts was very good
Very helpful staff, always available to help. Made the stay very comfortable and convenient. Breakfasts were great as well. Nothing negative to say, highly recommended.
Wonderful location. Hotel staff was great. They were all very friendly and eager to help whenever we needed anything. There is some construction just outside the hotel, but the hotel is perfect for a family.

Liked: Staff & service
I stayed at City View Palace Hotel. The staff were kind, and even though my English is not very strong, they tried their best to understand and help me when I needed assistance. I really appreciated that.
However, I had requested a pickup service from Cairo Airport, but the car never came, so I had to take a taxi instead. Also, the front desk was quite loud late at night, and it was difficult to sleep.
Overall, I appreciate the staff’s kindness, but the experience had some inconveniences. I would rate my stay 2 out of 5 stars.
Great location, friendly staff , do not rush into first impressions when you enter the building because the hotel on the 3rd floor is renovated and will meet your expectations if you saw the pics.
I booked this as a starter hotel to be close to the activities we wanted to do before moving on to a different hotel in a different location. I had messaged the hotel to let them know we may be landing very late and not to give up our room. When we arrived to the hotel on saturday night we were told our room is having electrical issues and we would be moved to New City View hotel. I paid for 3 twin beds and we were put in a room with 1 queen and 1 twin room 407. On sunday we were supposed to go back to our original hotel but were told it is not ready. Later on sunday we physically went to our hotel and they told us that now our room is full. I asked "how can it be full if it was paid for and there was only an electrical issue that should have been fixed?" So went back to New City View hotel. On Monday the front desk clerk told us that again our room is not ready and we would be spendingthe night. We had a tour booked for the day and pick up could not be changed. We went to the original hotel at 8am and they said our room is ready. The miscommunication between these 2 hotels was terrible. Instead of living in our hotel room from saturday night until tuesday comfortably, we were living out of our suitcases packing and unpacking every day, toilet had a leak. Finally when we did settle in to city view palace for 1 night, the heater was not working and the room was ice cold and all we were told is sorry it is broken, and the wifi did not work. Beyond terrible.

Liked: Cleanliness
First of all, I will give them some leeway because they were renovated at the time of my visit. To enter, you have to walk on sand to get to the entrance and a piece of concrete slab to get in the bldg. Take an elevator that fits three with luggage and luckily we had small suitcases. The hotel is on the left 3rd floor and is well maintained and very nice and the rooms are adequate. Only two electrical outlets per room which makes it difficult for multiple devices. I hesitate giving it a three but the staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious and filling. If I could, I would give a honest 2.5 star rating.
