Very lovely hotel in the heart of historic Cairo. Very friendly, kind, and considerate staff. Extremely nice food including a delicious home cooked dinner which was unexpectedly included in my reservation for free. Roof terrace is beautiful, room is very comfortable, and the art and craft taking place around the building is very interesting. The perfect hotel for visiting historic/Islamic Cairo.

We have traveled the world. This was our best stay anywhere. It was fantastic! The hotel was ideally located for an authentic experience. The food was wonderful. The owner and staff knowledgeable and invested in making our stay memorable. The room and facilities reflected old Cairo, but were modern and well maintained. The area was safe, historical, and rather nifty,

Raghad and the rest of staff were more than helpful. They are very passionate and dedicated to their one of a kind unique establishment. If In Cairo again, we will stay there again no hesitation.

This is a 5* experience in the Islamic quarter. Since it’s a renovated soap factory, every space is different, and it’s the luck of the draw if you get the owners suite (bro’s room) or a smaller room that requires contortions in the bathroom. But with a new elevator, everyone has access to the multiple common spaces. Freshly made breakfasts and dinners are shared around a large table where everyone plans their days events. Tours are suggested and guides are provided. Or you can sit in the main level and watch artesian work. Venturing out the door at 7 pm to wander through the Islamic quarter and watch life happen was memorable. Finally, I have never arrived at 10:30 pm to find a host that wanted to make us a late supper while he explained the hotel. Cold and hot drinks were available 24/7. My new home in Cairo.

Hotel was wonderful . It has a beautiful cultural touch with a museum on ground floor and rooms above. Lift is available . delicious breakfast and dinner is served in a comfy kitchen/ dining area. Miss maryam is a wonderful host. The hotel is located in interior Cairo with wonderful locations like khan Khalili , Moez street , hussain mosque and old cultural architecture just a step away. Only drawback is narrow streets in which in busy hours one might find difficult to reach hotel entrance by car . You may have to walk 1-2 min to reach it . With heavy luggage and family sometime it can be cumbersome but the load bearers are available that carry your luggage on wheel barrow to the hotel . On Early morning , late night hours or weekends with empty streets this can be no issue.
