“A really great place to stay near the action of San Antonio but far enough away to have some peace and watch the boats go by. The staff are so welcoming and helpful at any time of the day. The bar is open from 0900 to 2300 and food is also available at these times The pool and pool area overlooks the stunning San Antonio bay where there is always something to watch. A 10 minute walk one way will have you at Cafe Mambo and 10 minutes the other will have you at Cala Gacionetta. Absolutely perfect……

“Please be careful of the mini bar in room On check In was told it’s all inclusive and gets stocked daily We later found out after opening 2 bottles in the room the spirits we not included and it cost over €110 Staff were not helpful to assist in removing there costs We felt like we had paid enough for the signature level experience not to be charged for these items”

“This hotel is a great option for young people looking to get a cheap thing in Ibiza. Unfortunately, for my friend, and I we had gotten a private room, which meant that we were located on the third floor and for the entire duration of our stay the elevators and never worked. We had to go up and down three flights of stairs, every single day, including bringing our luggage up and down, which was difficult considering we had a good amount of it. I do think it is strange to charge people for towels……

“Incredible family owned business. This place is a hidden gem in San Antonio! The staff is excellent and always available. Rooms are cleaned throughly. They have a sister property cafe and the food could have a Michelin star. Especially for the price, you cannot ask for anything better. They have a happy hour from 5-7 and it is the best deal in town. Sara, our bartender one night, was exceptional and they all are fluent in both Spanish and English. “Check in experience is good as the staff is very responsible and speaks good English. The service is also flexible in providing early check in and late check out. Sea view room is very cool too. Housekeeping really brings the overall stay experience very mediocre, because: 1. the dishes and water glasses were not cleaned everyday. We stayed there 4 nites and have accumulated several dishes and glasses at the sink. 2. bed sheets were not made properly. 1st half is out of the mat……

“Stayed for 5 nights check in was excellent and friendly, room was available on arrival early and had everything included safe fridge choice of air-conditioning on ceiling fan both kept you cool.Gym and spa downstairs felt the gym lacked a multi gym weight machine plenty of running machines.Pool area was excellent and bar and drinks facilities around the pool excellent too, Fina the waitress was friendly and helpful and looked after you supply refreshments. “Sixth visit here. Lovely, helpful staff. Hotel and room always spotless. We are a hetero couple and there seemed to be more lgbtq+ customers here than last time, more of a variety of ages and not just English people, which is great. Place has had a glow-up. You won't necessarily get an iron in your room but we ironed our clothes before travelling which was enough. Bar menu has one vegan main option (there used to be more - like a roasted veg plate, and a vegan burger) but still is a tasty poke……

“A five-star experience in a three-star hotel! We were genuinely impressed with our stay at Hotel Tropical. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is in a fantastic location.
