"The villa is brand new and very nice. This is the only villa on turtle Bay, your own private beach. Mary Judd and her family were gracious hosts. The complementary homemade breakfast was excellent. They made us dinner two nights and it was also fantastic. Sleeping with the doors open, the breeze flowing in and the waves crashing was something out of a movie. Absolutely loved it."

"The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!"

"Well staffed and beautiful resort..it has easily accessible amenities nearby and within driving distance. It is a great place for couples, families and individuals to relax and unwind. Great staff, beautiful location, spa treawnt by the river..nature is right at your fingertips best asset!!"
"We needed a night stop over between inbound flight and outbound boat - wouldn't want to stay here any longer than that. Super thin stretch of land between noisy main road and the sea. Property in need of a refurb too"
"I arrived in the town and a motorcyclist had been hit and was laying in the street motionless.. the entire town was standing around in the street. i had the place in my navigation and i could not even find it due to all the people blocking the driveways and streets. I also did not feel comfortable walking around looking for it. there was no sign that was visible from my car with all the people in the way. I ended up not staying there due to circumstances beyond my control. the property will not return/credit me my 3 days of payment. I am extremely disapppointed."
Luxury private beachfront villa with spectacular views
10/10 Excellent
"This house was a little slice of heaven in an unspoiled country with the friendliest people you will ever meet. The house owner and host were both available, attentive, and helpful as our family of five enjoyed the village of Callibishie and the island of Dominica. The house is clean and laid out well, with amazing views, an outdoor pool, and an indoor hot tub. Chris connected us with a local who provided us with meals many days, stocked our pantry before we arrived, and gave us helpful hints for our trip. We connected with Wendy from Untouchable Tours. Keep in mind, Calibishie is in the north, near the airport, but 1.5 hours from Roseau, the capital. "
"The view from this house is just incredible. Every night we fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves and during the day we loved sitting on the comfortable deck furniture with a coffee or drink just soaking in the view. The house has been constructed with care and was super comfortable for our family of 3, with two full bedrooms and bathrooms plus a large and bright kitchen/living area. We were able to prepare a few simple meals and enjoyed the espresso machine every morning! The breakfasts and dinner by Marie Jude were super tasty - probably the best dinner we had in Dominica. The short walk to Turtle Beach is steep but very short and doable. The beach itself has the softest sand and we loved playing in the warm waves. A couple days the sea was too rough for swimming but we still had fun on the beach and playing near shore. You can also walk to nearby tide pools, which we had fun exploring! Calibishi is nearby with a couple small markets and quite a few good restaurants to try. We also loved the nearby gin distillery and the chocolate factory! Really this property couldn’t be better. "
"I honestly can’t say enough about the beauty, privacy, and peace of this property, nor can I speak highly enough of Brynmore and Bob, whose generosity and commitment to a perfect experience went above and beyond…but honestly, there’s one thing about this place that I will never forget, and that is Brandy, the sweetest and friendliest dog in all of the Caribbean. If you, like me, are an animal lover, she is easily the best substitute for your own furry friends, and will come over to say hi every time you’re starting to need a fix on some snuggles and love. Beyond this - and again, if this was a straw hut and Brandy it’s still getting five stars - the house was so amazing, comfortable and fresh in every kind of weather, with a view that is unreal. It’s located very comfortably to explore the island, and appointed with literally everything you could need - the thoughtfulness of the owners in setting it up this way is tremendous. Bob was so friendly and helpful, and made our visit easier than I could have hoped for. If you are coming to Dominica and this place is available, snatch it up!!!"
