Location is amazing, short walk to the beach! Overall stay was great and cosy, only dislike was the art through the house - hate clowns lol! Would love more of a beachy aesthetic to suit the property, then it would be 5/5.

Great location, only 3 minute walk to the beach

Good stay, in a really good location. You’ll need to bring most toiletries (and bed linens) but it’s in a very good location. A bit older, but you’re more than likely to spend most of your time around the beaches. Good stay for the price.

Overall we were happy with the house, kitchen was a bit dirty with splattered food down the cupboards and the shower needed a good scrub. And the cobwebs outside should be cleared. But the house felt inviting and the beds were comfortable and the beach was lovely and very close.

Overpriced decent place

The house is in decent shape. It is located in Callala Beach on Jervis Bay, which in itself is a beautiful spot but 35 km from where one can find restaurants and cafes. This was not so clear from the ad. We stayed for 4 nights and had to bring linen. Given the price I think linen should be provided; I also don't fancy the additional laundry on returning.

No WiFi and poor phone reception. Not especially clean as coated dust on the numerous 3D pieces of décor. An extra and quite hefty cleaning bill in addition to rental cost is a bit much, and the “complimentary toilet roll” just sounds as stingy as it is! Lovely garden and great location though.

Overall a good spot

I enjoyed my week at Callala Beach. The view from the deck at the house was lovely, I really enjoyed the native birds coming to the feeder and it was an easy walk to the beach. The fences were fine for my dog who's elderly. They are about 1m high, and a wire/ chicken wire at the back so you can see through to the bush. Inside - the couch was comfortable, as was the bed once I got used to a new one. Great to have a coffee machine (ground coffee not pods) and the kitchen was well equipped. The things I didn't appreciate - twice - people accessing the house while I was staying there without notifying me either in advance or afterwards. My car was outside, my wallet was inside on the table. The agency only admitted it when I pushed twice via email. Not okay. Personally I think the house would be better with less decorations. Maybe just me.
