“This is a pet and family friendly home however the listing does not tell you that you have to share the backyard with the occupants of the garden cottage. The lovely beach is close by but we were told to walk through the overgrown woods to get there and 5 out of the 8 of us got ticks on them. A neighbor informed us we could rather walk down very nice wooden stairs to the beach. The property owner should have informed us. The house is very hot with no central air conditioning. The outdoor seating……

“The property was very quiet and ideally located as advertise. Be advised that there are steep stairs to carry your suitcases. The placement of air conditioners could be improved. And the cleanliness of the pillows, and comfort of the mattresses could be greatly improved. It was a nice surprise to have an Nespresso machine and capsules. And it worked out just fine for our one night stay during a family wedding at the Sayville resort.”
