"The hotel and room was beautiful. However, the food was not up to the standard of Vietnamese or Western cuisine. It lacked the correct taste/seasoning. For an area such as Ha Long bay where the food options are not plentiful like Hanoi, the hotel must improve their overall food experience. "

"This was a beautiful resort in a very nice location. Unfortunately, two of the pools were closed when we were there for maintenance and the weather wasn’t very nice so we were unable to use the beach facilities. There was only one restaurant open for supper dining options. We had to pay for a shuttle into town or you could walk about 20 minutes. It is a bigger resort and felt a little bit more impersonal than some of the smaller properties we’ve stayed at on our trip to Vietnam. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, you didn’t get as much of a personal touch as you do in some smaller places."
