We loved this beach house in Cambria. We love the beautiful cove & the unmatched view. It's close to everything in the area & fully worth taking at least a day to stay home & enjoy the beach & house. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Cambria.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The views of the ocean and sound of waves crashing made it for a perfect base for our explorations of the area. The house had everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and easy. It’s a truly unique place with great character. We’d definitely stay here again!

What a sweet nest. Funky cool mid mod architecture. But the location is what’s unbeatable. Hikes at Fiscallini. Saw dolphins, sea lion sunbathing, Deer by the front door, otters out the back. Truly special place. And Cambria is a hidden gem.

We love visiting Cambria and this is the best place we’ve stayed so far. The location is absolutely amazing. Fiscalini Ranch just a short walk away. The only thing was the kitchen does not have much lighting and the stove is electric. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely love to come back.

Peaceful ocean retreat

This is the most stunning stretch of coastline in Cambria. This adorable cottage sits right next to Fiscalini Ranch preserve. This means you not only have a gorgeous ocean view but you also look out onto a beautiful sea cliff. The walking trail is right out the front door. This cove attracts sea otters and harbor seals as well as all kinds of sea birds. The check in/out process is so easy and the King sized bed is super comfortable. This is a wonderful home and I can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful spot

If you want the drama of the northern pacific, this place had it. Its all about the views. The house is a cool mid central design, but is dated and a bit more rustic than I imagined it, but still comfortable. There are few opening windows. Only one very small one in the living room. I would stst again.

Road trip was a Xmas present from wife so combined it with her B’day and 51st wedding anniversary. Great place with wonderful ocean views. Explored the area for several days, tours of the castle, etc. Perfect unique rental for a couple.

A gem!

Overlooking the ocean, charming, rustic, clean. This little house is a gem. Every need anticipated: clean towels, soap and shampoo, electrical outlets next to each side of the bed, a fully equipped kitchen. Plush, cozy king sized bed This property is a five star hotel packed in a small, soulful, house. Not to mention the easy walking paths along the ocean bluffs right out your door. We will return!

What’s with the ladder to the control tower?

The view is gorgeous of course. The steps in the house were a bit annoying. We both have arthritis, and hand rails would be nice. Never figured out how to work the shower drain. We were able to use the tv to get to amazon, but otherwise it was a total mystery. Otherwise really quite pleasant.

This location is amazing! This is the perfect place to enjoy exploring the area or just sitting and watching the waves. We had otters every day, tons of birds, and even a dolphin sighting. Wonderful place.

A little bit of magic

We've rented this simple, amazing little gem for years. Designed by Warren Leopold (famous in the area) its oceanfront location offers glorious coastal views,1960s custom charm and is a short walk to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Not fancy but unforgettable.

a magical little cabin

An excellent location. The house is a very charming little gem. Perfect for 2 people. The views are spectacular and the proximity to hiking trails very convenient. We had stayed in this home a couple of times before almost 25 years ago and loved it. The upgrades and improvements that have occurred since then have made it even better. We look forward to returning.

This is a historic Leopold designed house. Organic school of the 60’s. A poetic use of glass, redwood and concrete. Perfect get away for two artists and dogs.

Magical place to stay

This property is truly a special place. It's charming and quirky in the best possible way. From the window we watched the tide pools, otters playing and even a great blue heron visited. Amazing hiking at the Fiscalini Nature Preserve is only a block away. We cooked during our whole visit, and have NEVER seen such a well equipped kitchen in a VRBO property. We loved everything about our stay.
