What a wonderful home! When we arrived we couldn’t believe the beautiful pond (which we caught a fish in!). The owners thought of all the special touches to make you feel at home. Will come again!

This rental far surpassed our expectations. The location was peaceful, property was well maintained and home clean and very well appointed. The owners definitely put a lot of thought into what renters may want or need during their stay. The pond is well stocked for fishing and the pool, hot tub and covered porches provide a feeling of your own private resort. Jimmie was most helpful in providing support throughout our stay. A property!! Could not recommend more!!

I highly recommend this house in Cameron, TX. If you’re looking for a quiet vacation with a lot of fun things to do without having to go anywhere, this place is right for you. Jimmie is an amazing person and keeps everything clean and good looking for whoever decides to come. Our family had an awesome week at Wine Down Acres!!!

We rented this property for a family stay. The pool is absolutely lovely, the kids loved it. We caught some fish in the pond. There are tons of beautiful birds in the area. The house is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Perfect place for some country R&R. The property owners are nearby if needed and are super friendly! We highly recommend it!

We took this weekend to celebrate my sisters graduation from her masters program. This property was amazing for the 6 of us, there was plenty of room for sleeping, cooking, and playing games. The pictures don’t do it justice on how large and beautiful this area is, I was even able to catch a large mouth in the pond! No doubt, you’ll enjoy Wine Down Acres.

Omg Where do I start, everything weas so beautiful 😍 we all enjoyed are stay. The house nice and clean, loved the pool and pond. Absolutely. Loved the kitchen, we cooked when the kitchen almost every night and day!! Are whole family enjoyed our stay so much!! What definitely recommend if you are coming in that area? I most definitely. We will be coming back to visit. The host of the house was so nice and welcoming. I enjoyed a few conversations that I had with him. Looking forward to our next time here at this beautiful home. 🥰

We rented the property to stay while attending a wedding. 6 of us total stayed. We all had so much fun ! The property’s name describes it perfectly ,Wine down acres. We all just relaxed and had a great time. We enjoyed fishing , the hot tub the pool table ! The hosts were very prompt with any questions we had ! The 6 of us who stayed are all high school friends. We plan on meeting again at Wine Down Acres In a few months !! 100/10 ! Highly recommended!

My husband and I just got back from Wine Down Acres and we’re already talking about our next stay there. The house was clean, the property well taken care of, and the hosts were very friendly. Our dogs enjoyed running around the property and swimming in the pond. We didn’t bring fishing gear this time, but next time we will, as the pond was well stocked with fish. Even though the hosts live at a house on the back of the property, we felt very secluded and had plenty of privacy. We spent most of our time sitting on the front porch, swimming in the pool, or laying under the trees just enjoying the breeze and sounds of nature. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the busy life for a few days of peace and relaxation.
