"Love this place! Desks in every room makes it great for remote work. Excellent location and Nomads Cantina upstairs is a fun vibe with great food. Can be a little loud upstairs but everything quiets completely by 11 and the hotel provides ear plugs. Only about 7 rooms so not overcrowded though parking can be tough depending on when you arrive."

"Shannon’s comments:Super cute studio casita situated at the end of a winding path through lovely California flora. You enter the casita through a private gate into a quaint Spanish style courtyard, perfect for morning coffee. The room was immaculate. The Murphy bed was very comfortable. The small, but functional kitchen is stocked with all needed utensils for cooking, should you choose to cook. The bathroom is very nice, small but functional sink, large shower with great water pressure…loved the tile and cute mirror! There is also a washer and dryer, which was very handy!! There is no AC, but there are fans, and with the windows open it is comfortable. It is conveniently located, near restaurants, shopping, and of course, beautiful San Clemente Beach. The owners of the property, Audrey and Matt, are very friendly, and were super responsive to any questions we had. Check in-out was super easy. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Our stay at the Artist's Penthouse in San Clemente was absolutely wonderful, and we can't recommend it highly enough!From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel like family. He greeted us with a thoughtful gift basket and gave us a friendly, informative tour of the property, making sure we knew where everything was and offering great local food recommendations.The penthouse itself was spotless, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were cozy, the living room was perfect for relaxing, and the spectacular balcony offered stunning views that quickly became our favorite place to enjoy morning coffee, play Uno with our girls, and view evening sunsets.The attention to detail was exceptional. The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need, including kitchen and bathroom essentials, beach gear, blankets, and even special toys for our dog. It's clear the owners have put a great deal of thought into making every guest—and their furry family members—feel welcome.The location couldn't have been better. It's just a short walk to the town, with fantastic shops, restaurants, and bars, making it easy to enjoy everything San Clemente has to offer. This was one of the most welcoming and enjoyable VRBO experiences we've ever had. We will definitely be returning to the Artist's Penthouse the next time we visit San Clemente!"
